Description: Fresh, quality wheat germ is defatted by a "cold process" extraction method, which retains the nutritional and flavor characteristics of the wheat germ. Proti-GERM Defatted Wheat Germ LTG is a coarse granular product. It is toasted to obtain a medium tan color with dark tan speckling. The flavor is toasty with a mild, lingering nut-like taste.
